The full walk runs along 65 kilometres of undeveloped coast with many superb views. Walkers travel from Angourie along tracks and beaches, over headlands, rivers and rock platforms, finishing at the beautiful estuary at Red Rock village.
Expect encounters with sea eagles, rock pool invertebrates, shorebirds, whales and dolphins. Yuraygir is home to a range of forest, wetland and heath dwelling animals, including the endangered population of coastal emu. It is also rich in bird life and wonderful wildflowers.
The full four day walk can be tackled as a beautifully catered and comfortably accommodated tour. Highly knowledgable local guides provide in-depth knowledge about all aspects of the walk. Safety and logistics are all managed so guests are free to explore, enjoy and experience with only a day pack! Support to self-guided walkers, including DIY end-to-end walk-in campers is also offered.
